"Bring me the head of Dan Rather!"

Hey, kids. Remember how the entire right-wing wankersphere went absolutely ballistic over the Dan Rather/George W. Bush memo incident? And how, even after Dan Rather apologized, those same wankers weren't going to be satisfied with anything less than poor Dan's head on a pike at the city gates? Or perhaps dragging his naked body through the streets, accompanied by victorious, howling blood lust?

So, now what? Rather than an apology and retraction from the National Compost, what we get is ... uh oh.

Hey, folks. When does the lynching start? No, really. I mean, you're not going to let them get away with that, are you? Well? Are you?

I THINK OUR WORK HERE IS DONE: Buh bye:

Prime Minister Stephen Harper was quick to condemn Iran on Friday for an anti-Semitic law that appears not to exist.

That's our Stevie. He may be an ignorant, closed-minded, autocratic buffoon but, by God, he's our ignorant, closed-minded, autocratic buffoon.

CC, get with the program! We have always been at war with Eastasia, didn't you know?
Its about IRAN, after all -- and you know that Iran is the new EVIL ONE, the new NAZI EMPIRE, the new WORSE-THAN-HITLER.
Sure, the story had no actual truth, but who cares -- it sounded like it could be true, it felt true, it had truthiness. All the people who can't wait to go to war with Iran are just aching to believe that Iran would do something like this, so they can get all outraged and justify an unjustifiable war.
