Better hurry up ... time's a wastin', Doc.

Recall, if you will, how Blogging Tory Dr. Roy's literary criticism of Dinesh D'Souza's new crapfest extended as far as gushing over the cover? Well, the good doctor might want to get cracking on an actual review because, if this keeps up, all the good adjectives will be taken:

Don't think it's online as yet, but in next week's New York Times Book Review Alan Wolfe administers quite a drubbing.

Like his hero Joe McCarthy, he has no sense of shame. He is a childish thinker and writer tackling subjects about which he knows little to make arguments that reek of political extremism. His book is a national disgrace, a sorry example of a publishing culture more concerned with the sensational than the sensible.

Who is the guilty reeker? Why none other than the Rishwain research scholar at the Hoover Institute at Stanford University, our old friend Dinette D'Setta.

Oh, please let that review be online, please let that review be online, please let that review be online.

I was really enjoying James Wolcott's evisceration of Dinesh "The Souse's" execrable little screed, especially this bit of snark:

So as not to seem like a man obsessed, I have decided to make this a Dinesh D'Souza-free weekend. Until we next peruse The Enemy at Home to see what spiders crawl from its pages.

Delicious. I hope someday Dr. Roy writes a book...and hopefully a book on CD which he narrates himself. Apparently, he has quite a distinct voice.

Ouch, that one's gonna leave a scar. Remind me never to piss off Alan Wolfe. God I hope that review make it online.
