Hello? Blogging Tories?

Hey, kids ... we're still waiting to hear your take on President McDumbfuck's disastrous address to the nation the other day. Come on, now ... he's your hero. So let's hear your opinion.

Hello? (tap tap) Is this thing on? Hello?

(Crickets ...)

AND WHILE WE'RE AT IT, surely you all remember how so many of the Blogging Tories were creaming themselves over the "lonely John Kerry" talking point, and how that talking point turned out to be total crap.

Well well well ... lookee here (emphasis added):

Bush spoke to about 300 soldiers and family members at Ft. Benning. His audience was friendly, but his sober address received a less enthusiastic reception than has been the case on his past visits to military bases to promote his Iraq policy.

So ... any bets on who'll be the first Blogging Tory to report on the troops dissing Commander Codpiece? I should offer a prize.

P.S. Over at TPM, Paul Kiel documents the waning enthusiasm for Admiral McFlightSuit. I'm thinking this might have something to do with it.

The Blogging Tories -- when the debate gets uncomfortable, they're the very definition of "cut and run," aren't they?

They were for the "lonely politician" talking point before they were against it.

The boys at Fort Benning are "regular army." A decision to impress reservists for more than two years active duty would not affect regular army troops. There is something else bothering them.

FWIW, the commanding general at Benning reportedly told National Public radio that he had issued orders forbidding the troops from talking to the press. Said he didn't want them to steal the president's thunder, or words to that effect.
