Brenda Martin, and the burning stupid of Kate McMillan.

I realize that it's not what you'd call newsworthy, but Blogging Tory (and "Canada's Best Blogger") Kate McMillan just wrote something hideously idiotic. So let's go read.

Kate is all about that whiny bitch Martin and her defenders being all ungrateful and stuff like that there:

...had my qualified sympathy up until the precise moment in time at which her supporters denounced Jason Kenney's trip to Mexico as a "photo op" that would do "more harm than good".

Let's consider that last bit -- that the visit by Jason Kenney and Rick Norfolk might actually do more harm than good. First, there's this:

In an exclusive interview today, Martin said she was told by Canada's multiculturalism minister Jason Kenney that the Mexicans have insisted she go through a criminal trial and be sentenced in no less than 30 days. During the meeting at the Guadalajara women's prison, Kenney also told Martin that if she is returned to Canada, she will have to serve at least half her sentence in a Canadian prison.

Um ... what? Kenney told Martin that, after the trial and the sentencing, "if she is returned to Canada, she will have to serve at least half her sentence in a Canadian prison."

While that might sound charitable, one wonders just where Kenney came up with this "at least half her sentence" part. Why "at least half?" What's so legalistically significant about that particular fraction? Why not at least one third? Or at least two thirds? Or at least 13/29? What's the magical inherent property of the value one half? Or is that simply the most difficult fraction Kenney is capable of dealing with? But, wait ... it gets ever so much worse.

The perpetually stupid Kate McMillan seems unable to imagine how Jason Kenney and his big mouth could end up hurting Martin's case rather than helping it. Let me try to enlighten her.

Mexico has already made it clear that it will not tolerate any interference in their judicial system:

EDMONTON - Mexico has flatly rejected a request from Canada to release Brenda Martin, the Canadian woman imprisoned without trial for more than two years.

And Canadian Prime Minister Doughy McWideLoad has made it clear that he has no intention of "meddling" in the legal proceedings of a foreign country. But what is publicly announcing that you're willing to arbitrarily reduce the sentence of someone convicted in another country other than "meddling?"

If you're the Mexican prosecutor in Martin's case, and you sincerely believe that she deserves 10 years in prison, and you make your case, and she is in fact sentenced to 10 years, how would you feel about extradition now that the grossly irresponsible Jason Kenney has publicly announced to the world that he might be good with whacking a good chunk off that sentence once Martin is back in Canada? Would you be happy with that? I doubt it -- in fact, you might be seriously fucking pissed, to the point where you strenuously oppose Martin's repatriation, perhaps scuttling the whole deal.

There's your harm, Kate, you ignorant fuckwit -- that Kenney running off at the mouth might very well have jeopardized Martin's release. But, seriously, why am I even bothering to explain this, given the level of mental retardation over there at SDA?

Just when you think human beings can't get any stupider, a quick trip over to Kate's place is generally enough to disabuse you of that fantasy.

P.S. And, no, we're not done here. Kate is such a retarded dumbass that it's going to take a couple more posts just to lay out the sorry details.

Sounds like they have already made up their mind on her guilt.

That's what most of kate's posts are... hatred, lies within lies within lies and pure malevolence towards people.

Recall that in order to explain the extreme disgusting nature of her genocide for Angolan comments, it took about 4000 words...

That's part of the problem with debunking her by serious critics. It takes so LONG to explain what is SO wrong about her shit, because of the dishonesty hackery riddled with false premises and reactionary conclusions -- that many times, you can't be bothered because you know it won't make a dent.
