Irony? What irony? Oh, THAT irony.

"Canada's Best Blogger" (who thinks making fun of six million dead Jews is a knee-slapping hoot) gets up in the grille of those shrieky, pro-choice moonbats:

Look, you stupid feminazi twits ...

To which one of Kate's commenters conveniently demonstrates what "lack of self-awareness" really means:

That old hippy website was rife with denigrating swearing. My English teacher always told us that swearing was a sign of laziness and/or a low IQ.

Load gun. Cock hammer. Point carefully at foot. Squeeeeeeeeze trigger ...

Is "denigrating" swearing worse than regular swearing? Cause if it is, we need to rethink how we swear around here ...

Ah, there's nothing that KKKate loves more than a good cat-fight. She's like an idiotic man in that respect...in fact, I think that post was her throwing bait to the leering rednecks who make up her audience.

...mAnn Coulter without the Adam's apple.

For people that hate my blog, they sure seem to have gone through it with a fine-toothed comb. Nitwits.

They only go after the ones they feel intimated or threatened by. Remember that.

Ann Coulter is at her most vicious when she's attacking other women. Same thing with KKKate.

made the same observation ("maybe, jema, they just don't like being called 'stupid feminazi twits'....") on kkkate's blog late last night. of course, deleted.

heh. with all the words she's adding to her spam filter, it's a real challenge for me to comment there and still leave a calling card; "KEvron" and "stinkyluvin" are banned words, but "K E v r o n" and "s t i n k y l u v i n" make it through her blockade!

You're lucky you're sufficiently detached from it that you can bear following the discussion, Kevron.

The toxic drivel at KKKate's is simply too poisonous for me to follow and is really alien to the politics I'm familiar with. There are few areas of concentrated evangelical/rural conservatism in Canada outside pockets in Saskatchewan/Alberta and southwestern Ontario.

I recognise the name "honey pot," though. He/She/It has been trolling BigCityLib's and is a complete fool.

like i keep saying, ti-guy: if it weren't for the dipthong, i wouldn't be able to tell your wingnuts from ours.

and replace 's' with 'z' (pronounced 'zed') wherever possible, KEVron. ;-)

and LuLu, not only full of 'denigrating' swearing but swearing by women, too. Oh my, it's the end of western civilization I tells ya', Teh End!

It's much more a psychological problem with ours. Some of them really do forget what country they live in. King of the Canadian Wingnuts (publisher and lawyer) Ezra Levant was droning on last week about "fair use" with regard to copyright law and Canadian wingnuts have been known to assert their "right to bear arms" in discussions about gun control.

I know your wingnuts never get confused and start thinking they have one criminal code, or try to assert their Charter rights or anything like that.

Thankfully for liberals and true democrats on both sides of the border, their shared irrationality is easily recognised.

wasn't that priceless?! whatta neanderthal....

the comment above ("by women, too") illustrates my affinity for these kinds of sites: there's a challenge in trying to determine whether a comment like that is genuine or satire. half the time, i get the idea that some of the wilder comments come folks on this blog sockpuppeting there. detachment eases the paranoia.

If I see references that indicate that others are supposed to "get" that it's really parody-trolling, I can appreciate that, but I never saw that happening over at KKKate's when I used to pay attention to her.

When I finally realised that there are plenty of wingnuts who really do think the way they do, are perfectly serious, and can be genuinely nasty and vindictive, it just stopped being funny, whether parody or not.
