Sunday Funnies.

Les Nessman, Buckeye Newsbuck edition.

Hmmmmmm coffee. I can’t actually taste or smell it but it feels good. Did you know that the light reddish-brown foam on the surface of an espresso is called crema? This is the sign of a perfectly brewed coffee. Edumacation even when I’m sick.

crema - I didn't know that, thanks for the Sunday lesson.

Hope you are feeling better very soon.

That was beyond a doubt my favourite WKRP moment.

If I remember this episode correctly at the end Les is telling Carlson, "as God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly"..classic sitcom

Actually I think it's the Big Guy telling Andy that he was sure turkeys could fly - wasn't the whole publicity stunt his idea?

No, you do not remember correctly -- it was Carlson who made that statement to the assembled members of the station. But a classic line, nonetheless.

yes of course, LuLu and CC it was Carlson making that comment. Fog of aging I guess, memory is not what it used to be :-)
