Apparently, due process has its limitations.

Harper's office stands firm on Khadr position

... "Mr. Khadr faces serious charges."

Quite so. And, as we all know, that whole "innocent until proven guilty" thing applies only to people facing non-serious charges. It just saves time that way.

Considering that most of the Gitmo detainees didn't face any charges at all, I guess that means Khadr's some kind of super-villain terrorist mastermind.

To review: Americans torturing Canadians is one thing; Canadians torturing Canadians is another. You bring Omar back and let him loose, he's going to go all "CSIS tortured me." Nobody wants to hear that.
