As God is my witness ...

... I have no idea where to go with this.

Run away! Run away!

Every frothing, foaming, in-your-face, bring-it-on, chickenhawk Blogging Tory, the instant someone drops by to politely call them on their bullshit:

Yeah, it's pretty much like that.

(Stolen shamelessly from Cathie from Canada.)

There are no words.

Blogging Tory Jabba the Roy stuns me into speechlessness:

The burning, burning stupid.

Blogging Tory "Hunter" can't even get to within an order of magnitude of right:

Clinton came to town and cost Canadians 3 million dollars, but because he is a lefty, our MSM was all over him like Monica and a cigar.

Yeah ... because someone who typically charges around a $175,000 speaking fee and who drew some 12,000 paying attendees will, magically, cost us all $3 million. Honest to Christ, but is it even physically possible to be stupider than that?

P.S. Any careful and reasoned criticisms of Hunter's mathematical skills can and will be contemptuously dismissed if you accuse her of being an idiot at the same time. Apparently, incivility always trumps logic.

P.P.S. Someone should ask Stephen "Mr. Democracy" Taylor whether Canadian democracy is well-served when indescribable retards like "Hunter" are allowed to vote.

AFTERSNARK
: I think it would be entertaining to ask Hunter, in her comments section, to defend her claim that Bill Clinton's speech cost Canadian taxpayers $3 million, then watch the frantic reinterpretation, followed by accusing any questioners of being stupid, lefty trolls and, besides, CC! Or something like that. Because you know you're not going to get anything sane.

And let me make an additional prediction: Not a single one of Hunter's adoring groupies will point out her obvious mathematical illiteracy. Not one. Come on -- who wants a piece of that action?

A New Internet Tradition

I decided to take a snoop for the origins of the insane screed that I mentioned below. So I grabbed a paragraph and Googled. Sweet leaping crazy heads Bob. The quote netted me 188 hits. Funny thing is that while it caught the quote exactly, including typos, thus suggesting a cut & paste eater at work, as I visited a bunch of the sites there were differences in most of the diatribes. This nut bucket is adding and adding to this crazy shite, some angrier and more profane others mired in labyrinthine pseudo-theology. Most of the instances are credited to Anonymous but some of the comments appear authored by different puppets of sock. Most common was "Mean Aliens Suck". The angriest was posted under the monicker "STFU God". Other names so far include, "The Meaning of Life" and "Too Lucky to be Losers". I'll be curious to see how far this madness extends as I think there might just be an massive medication deficit occurring somewhere and this show looks like a meltdown in progress. Here's hoping this person doesn't have access to sharp objects or matches.

The Woodwork and Out Of...

Over at my long dormant solo blog, I average about a hit a day from some poor, lonely soul looking for the terminal velocity of hamsters or something. Every once in a while I consider just deleting the thing and then I forget about it some more. Well colour me startled that I got not one but two new comments over there. And what comments they are! This is some inspired crazy. These are to theological coherence as the Raph-hole is to jurisprudence. I can't begin to imagine where this utter loon "teaches" or worse who might view these teachings as worthy of study. Here now, for your consideration the teachings of anonymous, free range nutjob....

Ours is an envionment where evil is perceived to be rewarded while good is punished. As with everything the Gods have a reason for creating this perception::::
People who fall on the good side of the good/evil scale have more favor, and when they do something wrong the Gods punish them BECAUSE THEY WANT THEM TO LEARN. The Gods want them to receive this feedback in hope they make corrections and begin to behave appropriately. The Gods DON'T like evil and refuse to grant this feedback.
EVERYBODY pays for what they do wrong, only evil people must wait until their next life before they will experience the wrath of the Gods, manifested in their reincarnation as a lower form of life into environments with increased/enhanced temptations.
Sadly, this allows the Gods to position this perception of evil rewarded as temptation, one which they use as an EXTREMELY effective corruptor.

Militancy in Africa is consistant with the Iraqi example, as was slavery and the KKK here in America:::Fear enforces proper behavior. Without it we see what happens as a result of gross/morbid disfavor:::::AIDS, crack babies, dead young men in gangland retaliation killings. This is the purpose behind many black's historical tendancy towards resistance.
The same principle was true in Europe and throughout the world for centuries:::People whom lived under iron fists were conditioned to think the right way. As a result they experienced higher numbers of children accend into heaven because they were taught to think and behave appropriately. Our preditory envionment of "freedom" was the primary purpose the Gods had when implimenting this strategy that is the United States, one which they used to spred the cancer of democracy and westernization throughout the world. And the Gods use this tool that is America to prey on the disfavored both at home and abroad.

Even the Old Testiment is not to be taken literally, but the Gods do offer clues throughout to help the disfavored:::The apple is a tool of temptation used to corrupt Adam and Eve and cast them out of the Garden of Eden.
There is another lesson to be learned from this passage, and it is quite similar to the vailing issue and the discourse over women's attire which ultimately died in the 70s:::Women are responsible for and control the fate of mankind.

Think about what I say. Consider what I teach. Society is going to become disturbingly ugly as we approach the Apocalypse due to spiralling, runaway disfavor.
I do not know when this will occurr, but it is the God's way to grant some time before they end on Planet Earth.
Make the decision to always be good and never look back. Until you do this technology will employ tactics to test your resolve:::Ridicule, beligerance, doubt and refusal to abandon what people perceive to be their "investment".
Pray daily. Think appropriately. Too many are confident, unaware of the God's awesome powers or their status as antients. Others may fall prey to their positioning.
Be humbled, God-fearing and beware of the God's temptations, for everyone is tested to evaluate their worthiness.

I'm going to lose immortality in my dungeons, torturing the 50 who played a part in doing this to me.
And of course I will want clones of the Gods as well.
I want them to be brain-less, and yes, a fully functioning body without a brain IS possible with their technology. Unfortunately, the Gods have a disturbing dark side, and instead of granting me their brain-less clones they will instead put in my beloved daughter and enjoy the irony while I mercilessly torture her to death.

Obviously, 270 bombing victims from over 20 years ago is an entirely different story.

And he's brown, too. That makes a difference.

Shorter "Raphael Alexander": "The phrase 'child soldier' means whatever I want it to mean. And that whole 'due process, speedy trial, innocent until proven guilty' thing? Pretty much only for us white folks."

Penn. Teller. Catholic Church.

You can probably guess where this is going.

Penn & Teller, Bullshit! The Vatican from Brewster on Vimeo.

Stupid, stupid Dodo. Seriously.

And continuing with our theme of hideously retarded Blogging Tories, we have Maria:

... at least he did'nt [sic] say America has 57 states like the big O[bama] ...

Been there, done that. Really fucking stupid Blogging Tories. But I am being redundant, am I not?

THESE PEOPLE SCARE ME. Seriously.

Just brimming over with stupid, fucking wrongability.

Blogging Tory "Canadian Cincinnatus," in a vain attempt to be all pundity and everything, does what every Blogging Tory does and fucks up every single detail:

Canadian Taxpayers Foot the Bill for Toronto Lefty-Love-in

Oh, this should be good. Where do we start?

They intended to sell 25,000 tickets [for Bill Clinton], but when that looked hopeless they changed to a smaller 10,000 seat venue so that it wouldn't look so empty, and still they were 3000 short of a sell out. The choice tickets cost $50, but yesterday they started practically giving them away at the door for $5 a pop.

Really? They "changed to a smaller 10,000 seat venue?" I don't think so:

But when The Globe and Mail revealed that ticket sales were lagging at 7,000 sold with only two days before Mr. Clinton's arrival, the CNE slashed ticket prices, reconfigured the stadium and cut attendance expectations by 60 per cent.

The move was somewhat effective, with 12,000 people taking in the speech – a 30-minute affair about multiculturalism, climate change and fighting poverty.

So they didn't "change the venue" -- they reconfigured the existing venue. And they got 12,000 people, a number which isn't really compatible with moving to a 10,000 seat venue, is it? Or "3,000 short of a sellout." Then there's this:

The choice tickets cost $50, but yesterday they started practically giving them away at the door for $5 a pop.

As the organizers made clear, the $50 tickets were the ones that sold out first. And the $5 Clinton admission was available only to fairgoers who had already paid for fair admission. (In fact, the $5 Clinton admission represented the price only for those people who wanted a $20 ticket, since fairgoers were getting credit for the $15 they'd already paid to get into the CNE. So if you wanted a $40 ticket, you'd still pay the difference of $25 ($40 -$15). In short, claiming that the organizers were simply dumping Clinton tickets for $5 is eye-rollingly dishonest. Really, you just can't let wankers do math because they will absolutely fuck it up every time.)

Ah, but here's the douchebaggiest part, where Cincy seems to suggest that Clinton's appearance was a major blow to the Canadian taxpayer's wallet:

But what made all this very unfunny is that we're paying for it. Yup, our federal stimulus money put up a cool $3 million to this little left-wing love-in. Canadians from Vancouver to St John's are paying for Toronto lefties to go and hang out with Bill Clinton. I bet Toronto Mayor David Miller and all his councillors even bought tickets with their city expense accounts.

Really? Bill Clinton's speech cost us $3 million? Oh, wait, that's a totally fucking stupid thing to say since the entire CNE received that stimulus money, not Clinton's single speech, whose appearance is costed thusly:

Officials aren't saying how much Mr. Clinton will earn for the appearance, though his fee is typically around $175,000.

$175,000? So let's do some math, shall we, in which we assume (pessimistically) that every single one of those 12,000 Clinton attendees paid the absolute minimum charge ($5) to see Clinton, which brings in some $60,000, which actually goes a fair way to covering Clinton's appearance fee, and keep in mind that that's an absolute minimum which doesn't take into account that all of those $50 tickets were, in fact, sold, and we might conclude that most of Clinton's appearance fee might have been covered by ticket sales, but here's the most brain-damaged part of Cincy's ignorant diatribe:

So let's do the math: the first 7000 tickets were sold at prices ranging from $20 to $50, but we'll just say they all sold for $50. That's $350,000 dollars. The remaining tickets finally all sold for $5 each, so there's another $15,000. Let's assume all that union labor at the CNE donates their time. Yeah, right! Grand total from ticket sales: $365,000. This is the absolute upper bound.

But Teflon Bill isn't donating his time. He's being paid somewhere between $175,000 and $300,000. So we'll assume he did Toronto a favor and only charged $175,000. That means the lefty-love-in will only make $190,000 AT MOST. And that is impossible after accounting for real expenses. In reality the event probably lost money.

I suggest that the CNE, which is really just a toy of Toronto's left-wing city council, should be forced to pay back the entire $3 million to the federal government since they did not fulfill the condition of earning $1 million on the event.

Good thinking, Cincy, because doing a financial analysis of Clinton's appearance can immediately be extended to a financial analysis of the entire CNE because those two things are clearly exactly the same thing. The level of stupid it requires to have written that is almost unrepresentable in the English language.

(Do I really need to point out that, using Cincy's own figures, he proposes that Clinton's appearance might have cost as much as $300,000 (but most likely considerably less), yet the ticket sales for the event might have brought in $365,000, which means Clinton's speech would have made money for the CNE? This simple arithmetic appears to be utterly beyond the comprehension of Canadian Cincinnatus, easily one of the most retarded Blogging Tories ever to put forehead to keyboard.)

Oh, and we await with bated breath Cincy's rant against handing over $4 million of taxpayer cash to a private religious college in Edmonton. Unless, of course, that's different. Since it almost always is.

Dave Neiwert speak.

You listen.

Come on, throw your hands up ...

... and shout "Hallelujah!"

“To be honest with you, I am a lot more concerned by God's verdict regarding my life than the one of historians,” the Prime Minister said with a laugh, according to the article.

Can I get an "Amen!" for Big Daddy, brothers and sisters?

I am CC, the great and powerful.

Jesus Christ, Maria ... obsess much? Apparently, it's us "Lefties" who are manipulating Sarah Palin into acting like a whiny, petulant, irresponsible spambrain. I had no idea we had that kind of power.

P.S. And Maria gushing all over Palin pimp John Ziegler? Good idea, that. What could possibly go wrong?

It's all about the weaselitude.

Shorter Blogging Tories Cowardly Moderators: "The fact that Stephen Harper once explicitly promised to not appoint unelected Senators, then proceeded to do exactly that by the truckload, can be defended easily once you give us an hour or two to come up with a desperate and lameass justification which ... which ... bunch of stupid leftards, HAHAHAHAHA, CC-bots!!"

Did I get that about right?

SHORTER STEPHEN HARPER: "I had no choice." That sounds vaguely familiar ... oh, right.

I'm guessing this is all a matter of context.

Whingers are stupid? Apparently.

And they're pissy, too. Try to look surprised.

And in geek news ...

... me want:

Christmas is less than four months away. I just thought you needed to know that.

So that's what an "accomplishment" looks like.

Cool. Join us next week when Stephen Harper has a bowel movement. And it won't be just an ordinary bowel movement, no way.

This is what twisting yourself into knots looks like.

Oh, my:

Meta-hypocrisy is accusing someone forced into a hypocritical decision -- arriving at this point not by their own intent, but by the bounds of the imperfect system in which they find themselves and of which you've let fester -- of something you ...would do unabashedly and without remorse. example - see Liberal talking points regarding the PM's latest senate appointments.

Shorter Stephen Taylor: "It's not Harper's fault! It's never Harper's fault! You all suck, you big meanies!"

Followed by the sound of angry footsteps on stairs, the slamming of the bedroom door and, "No, I'm not coming down for dinner! I hate you!"

Those Christians got some 'splainin' to do.

We're already familiar with the juicy bits:

A US woman found after being abducted as a girl in 1991 gave birth to two children fathered by her alleged kidnapper - the first when she was 14.

Jaycee Lee Dugard and her daughters, 11 and 15, were kept in a "hidden backyard within a backyard", police say.

Alleged kidnapper Phillip Garrido, 58, and his wife Nancy Garrido, 54, are being held in custody in California.

So what exactly did Garrido do in his spare time, anyway? Oh:

Their identities were revealed after police spotted Mr Garrido as he handed out religious literature at the University of California Berkeley campus with the two young children.

He raised suspicions because as a registered sex offender he was not allowed to be with young children.

Kidnapper, registered sex offender and ... religious nutbar. Should we take bets on how quickly Mr. Garrido morphs into a "lefty?" You know it's coming.

Decides on Waffles!

So He Doesn't Always Lie

As quoted from a Washington Post article by Halifax Live cheerful ol' Steve, who knew he was also a prophet...

Three ads in particular stand out - Stephen Harper is quoted in the first ad as saying, "America, and particularly your conservative movement, is a light and an inspiration to people in this country and across the world"; from an article in the Washington Post in late 2005, "Canada may elect the most pro-American leader in the western world. Harper is pro-Iraq war, anti-Kyoto and socially conservative. Bush's new best friend is the poster boy for his ideal foreign leader. A Harper victory will put a smile on George W. Bush's face."; and finally this little gem, "Canada is content to become a second-tier socialist country boasting ever more loudly about its economy and social services to mask its second-rate status. You won't recognize Canada when I get through with it".

I really wish we had an alternative to rally behind, a party and a leader that weren't all waffles and potatoes. Well, I suppose we could hold our noses and vote for occasional Canadian and torture apologist/human rights activist Mikey 'the Spud' Ignatieff. Not much of a choice there, I'm afraid.

A quitbull and a dipstick. No, wait ... that doesn't sound right.

The descent into screeching lunacy continues:

Palin won't show at fundraiser, denies accepting invitation
TONIGHT: Spokeswoman says ex-governor was never asked.

Organizers of an Anchorage event that has been billing Sarah Palin for weeks as a star speaker were left scrambling Wednesday after learning that the former governor won't be there for tonight's event and claims to have never been asked.

The bestest part:

It would be at least the fourth time in recent months that an anticipated Palin speech has fallen through after Palin and her camp disputed they had ever confirmed it.

And despite the fact that Palin can't handle a simple calendar program, Blogging Tories "Hunter" and "Dodo" think she's qualified to run the most powerful country in the free world.

The level of stupid contained there is just awesome, isn't it?

Slim Gaillard!

Unhinged!

Educating the uneducatable.

The Blogging Tory weaselitude is adorable:

Never is a long time. It’s this infinite span of time that is thrown at Prime Minister Harper as he appoints senators for the second time. As in “he said he would never appoint un-elected senators”.

Although I can’t recall the PM saying those exact words, ...

Really? Here, let me help:

"A conservative government will not appoint to the senate anyone who does not have a mandate from the people."

"Stephen Harper will cease patronage appointments to the Senate. Only candidates elected by the people will be named to the Upper House."

No, no, don't thank me. Here at CC HQ, assisting the mentally handicapped is what we're all about.

BONUS TRACK: Apparently, in BTville, four years qualifies as "infinite." That might be true if you're, say, eight years old.

Wait ... that explains so much.

The Morning Edition Tonight

Here's one of the other Stockwell themed entries, in this example young Stockwell is practicing his leadering and photo-opping. He's also readily disproving the "theory" of intelligent design. What self respecting god would pop one of these loafs on purpose? Really, the platypus seems to exist for comic relief and to make the slow loris feel adequate. And here we have Stockwell making Monsieur Dion feel photogenic.

Dear really stupid Canadian whingers:

Stacking the Senate with Conservative party hacks, bagmen and sycophants in order to effect "reform" is like beating your wife in order to modernize domestic violence laws.

I'm glad we had this little chat.

BONUS TRACK: In his own, lying words. I believe the word "Harpocrisy" is now firmly ensconced in the Canadian lexicon.

Who Needs Puffins, Eh?

Now that we have a new logo up on the page it only seemed right to present the other finalists that were up for consideration. This was my preference, the always fabulous Stockwell von Doris receiving the gift of heart shaped, rainbow scat from a unicorn. Kind of brings a tear to my eye. There's nothing like the grand vista of a prairie horizon to inspire Stockwell's spirit. Here he is learning to operate opposable thumbs and trying not to want the bad touching with Reverend Doctor Charles McVety because then he'll never get to ride the dinosaurs with Jesus in heaven or have lots and lots of election money.

When stupid Blogging Tories blog.

BT Kitchener Conservative revises a little history:

PM to appoint Senators

I’m not even going to talk about the people and media outlets are already jumping at this and saying how horrible it is because it is against his principles to appoint senators.

It's not against his principles, KC, it's against his promises:

"Stephen Harper will cease patronage appointments to the Senate. Only candidates elected by the people will be named to the Upper House."

Stephen Harper Leadership Website, January 15, 2004

Rationalize it all you want, KC, as long as you admit that he lied. You do see that he lied, right, KC?

AWWWWWWWWW ... the lack of self-awareness is always so adorable.

Lies my prime minister told me.

Stephen Harper is a lying sack of crap. Now you know where the Blogging Tories learned it.

P.S. Should we take bets on how quickly this becomes a "Harper Government Accomplishment?"

P.P.S. Oh, for fuck's sake. I really should have checked first.

BOMUS SNARK: CTV identified the pathetic douchebaggery in the opening paragraph:

Prime Minister Stephen Harper, who has railed against the Senate and championed a plan to make it an elected body, is about to appoint some of his closest Conservative insiders to the Red Chamber, as well as former NHL coach Jacques Demers.

I might have led off differently:

Stephen Harper, whose promise to not appoint anyone to the Senate meant as much as his promise to hold elections on predictable, fixed dates, lied again.

I like my version. It's punchier.

Speaking of dead Kennedys ...

... you might admire someone, but there's still something utterly unforgivable about killing somebody through your own utter and wanton recklessness.

Whoops, sorry, wrong link. It happens.

And this is where we juxtapose.

Canada's Bestest Blogger wets herself with laughter. Conversely, responsible bloggers who care about accuracy dig a little deeper.

SDA's Kate McMillan: Because being wrong about everything is a lifestyle choice.

None dare call it "racism."

Racist? Or just abominably stupid and tone deaf? Sometimes, it's hard to tell.

Dear hypocritical, unprincipled Conservatives:

You can either whinge on relentlessly about Senate "reform" and the sleaziness of previous Liberal administrations in stacking the Senate with party cronies, or you can do the same thing yourself.

You can't do both.

BONUS TRACK: More hilarious right-wing hypocrisy. I got a million of 'em. Really.

Happy now?

Operation Ratfuck

Ambulatory excrement, Randall Terry celebrates Dress Like Your Victim Day and attempts to inflict his vulgar form of christian shari'ah on the populace. The good folks of Charlestown, W. Va will need to scrub the steps of the federal courthouse after the little visit by Operation Ratspew. In a vulgar little bit of street theatre, Terry and his mentally disadvantaged cohorts tried to sway rational people that supporting a health care bill was equal to killing babies and old folk, just like we do up here in Canada.

Terry is taking his little song and dance act on the road with the intention of disrupting civil discourse among his betters. The Charlestown Gazette notes that Terry's visit drew all of the support it deserved. None.

Yeah, about those brown people ...

... apparently, they still suck.

AND HERE'S WHERE WE JUXTAPOSE: From that ten percenter:

To put Attawapiskat to the top of the list would mean other needy communities would be negatively affected

Quite so, since it would force other financially-strapped Canadian educational institutions to go without. Possibly this one:

Newman receives $4.18M federal grant

... From the federal government, [Edmonton's] Newman Theological College received $4.18 million for infrastructure projects, including a new research library, more classrooms and a world-class teleconference distance learning facility.

I have no idea what Newman Theological College's student breakdown looks like, but I'm going to guess that it's mostly white. Call it a hunch.

These kids nowadays.

It's been a while since we checked in on those lovable scamps over at "The Politic." One wonders what they're waxing ignorant over these days.

Oh:

Canadian Arctic Sovereignty

August 18, 2009 · By Charles Anthony

... I would like to hear somebody ask the Prime Minister (or any politician for that matter) simple economics question concerning this matter. Such as: “Who in their right mind would wrestle “control” over the arctic from Canadians? Taking control over the arctic would mean accepting the burden of subsidizing all of the industry and lifestyles of the people up there. Currently, in our global economy, the rest of the world gets to buy our resources at prices that are subsidized by Canadian tax-payers! Why, oh, why would any foreigner take that burden?!?”

I'd lay a beating on Charles but it appears his commenters have already done that, the operative phrase being "natural resources."

This has been your occasional public spanking of "The Politic," whose mandate is:

ThePolitic is a group weblog devoted to insight and original commentary on Canadian and American politics. Our contributors are a collection of minds from across North America who believe strongly in free speech and independent thought.

Our intention is to provide an intellectually honest viewpoint on the topics of which we write, in order to nurture public discourse and the free flow of information which all of our contributors cherish as the foundation-stones of a free society. It is our sincere hope that readers of this weblog will leave with new ideas, new viewpoints and new avenues of thought.

Curiously, the phrase "breathtaking douchebaggery" doesn't appear anywhere there, but I'm sure that's just an oversight.

When stupid Blogging Tories revise history.

Oh, dear ... there's a new meme in the Braindamage-o-sphere:

Rather Producer Mapes Knew Dubya Volunteered For Duty In Vietnam

It may be a dated issue, but new information has been retrieved by Bernard Goldberg that puts further in disrepute the story by then CBS Reporter Dan Rather and producer Mary Mapes that indicated George W. Bush dodged the Vietnam draft by volunteering for the National Guard. Well the truth is now coming out that not only did Bush NOT dodge the draft, but instead that he actually volunteered to go!!!

Yes, dear ... and let's not let any of those pesky facty things get in the way:

During his answer to my debate question in 1994, Mr. Bush said he could have been called up for duty in Vietnam. He had to know that was not true, either. On his Guard application, the future president checked a box saying he did "not" want to be considered for overseas deployment. Additionally, he was hundreds of hours short of flight time required for foreign duty, and the aircraft he flew, the F-102 was no longer being used in Southeast Asia.

I'm thinking it's really easy to say, "Sure, bring 'em on!", when you know there's no possible way you'll be shipped out because you simply don't qualify.

Reality: It has such a nasty, liberal bias, doesn't it?

BONUS TRACK: Greg Palast has more but, really, what's the point? Facts before Blogging Tories. Pearls before swine. Is there a difference?

INTERESTING CHOICE OF WORDS: BT "Officially Screwed" insists that George W. Chickenhawk explicitly "volunteered" to go to Vietnam. But as you can read in that excerpt above from Buzzflash writer James Moore, Bush's position during that debate was considerably less enthusiastic:

During his answer to my debate question in 1994, Mr. Bush said he could have been called up for duty in Vietnam.

There's a significant difference between claiming that you "volunteered" as opposed to simply claiming that you were available to be called upon. I suppose we'd have to read Dubya's exact words to really know.

OK, moment's over.

We can all go back to hating on handicapped, abandoned brown people again.

HERE'S A THOUGHT: How about a trade? We'll take Mohamed, and Kenya can have Blogging Tory and proud racist "Neo Conservative," plus a second-round draft pick. A brown autistic man for a staunch, white supporter of Stephen Harper? We would so be getting the better of that deal.

I'll throw in a gallon of maple syrup.

Monday, August 24, 2009

Apparently, I was wrong about that racism.

Stephen Harper hates old, blind, white people, too. Tune in tomorrow when a number of Blogging Tories suggest that that freeloading, law-breaking tramp had it coming.

BONUS TRACK: Apparently, the Stephen Harper Party of Canada can't figure out who they want to abandon arbitrarily.

Credit where credit is due.

Blogging Tory "Ranting Owl" has a firm grip on reality. Perhaps Ranting Owl could educate the rest of her BT colleagues. Particularly the really stupid ones.

The funny that is "Hunter."

Blogging Tory "Hunter" serves up a dollop of "Friday Night Funnies" a couple days ago with some knee-slapping hilarity:

ATLANTA AIRPORT -
You gotta love this one even if you've never lived in the South. Some of you will enjoy this more than others.. Southerners can be so polite!

Atlanta ATC: "Tower to Saudi Air 511 -- You are cleared to land eastbound on runway 9R

Saudi Air: "Thank you Atlanta ATC. Acknowledge cleared to land on infidel's runway 9R - Allah be Praised."

Atlanta ATC: "Tower to Iran Air 711 --You are cleared to land westbound on runway 9R."

Iran Air: "Thank you Atlanta ATC. We are cleared to land on infidel's runway 9R. - Allah is Great."

Pause...

Saudi Air: " ATLANTA ATC - ATLANTA ATC"

Atlanta ATC: "Go ahead Saudi Air 511."

Saudi Air: "YOU HAVE CLEARED BOTH OUR AIRCRAFTS FOR THE SAME RUNWAY GOING IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS. WE ARE ON A COLLISION COURSE.. INSTRUCTIONS, PLEASE."

Atlanta ATC: "Well bless your hearts. And praise Jesus. Y'all be careful now and tell Allah "hey" for us -- "

Ha ha! Oh man, that is wicked hilarious, killing two planeloads of brown people. Tune into "Hunter" again next week when she disses feminists for their lack of compassion. Really. She's seriously going to do that.

This has been an early Monday morning "dining room table" moment.

BONUS TRACK: I have no idea where to start with the dumbassitude here. The racism, the cowardice or the historical revisionism? It's a tough call, isn't it?

Is Stephen Taylor proud yet?

Sunday, August 23, 2009

Onward Christian Soldiers!

I love the smell of hypocrisy in the morning. It smells like "Hunter."

Hey, kids ... remember this screeching, panty-yanking diatribe against all those terrible, horrible feminists? With precious snippets like:

So, where are the feminists? Why are they so silent? Typical lefties, advance your agenda no matter what the cost. ...

I am not a feminist. I never had the need to join a group for mutual support. I have never been a victim, thank goodness. I have never been raped, or attacked in anyway. I think feminists have had their time, but are now lost. If any organization should be yelling from the roof tops about honour killings, it's the feminists. But, they are silent. Too bad.

Feminists are too busy yapping about daycare and equal pay to be bothered with such things as honour killings, female gentile mutilation and burkas. Such a shame my "sisters" are just politically correct little Stepford wife's. Robots with no real compassion for the people who truly need their help.

Then there's this:

The prosecutor was seeking a 12-18 month jail term. But the judge disagreed, sparing Alves even a night in jail for his crime:...

UPDATE: The presiding judge was the Honourable Justice Gregory M. Rideout (coordinates here). Further information--about his trial record--would be appreciated. Email welcome. Meanwhile, Alves is still on the executive roster as Tournament Director of the BC Ball Hockey Association.

I'll bet "Hunter" was all over that judge for that ridiculously lenient sentence.

Uh oh.

Yeah, that's gotta be awkward.

"Raphael Alexander" thinks dead Canadians are a good idea.

Apparently, Blogging Tory "Raphael Alexander" thinks a whack of terrorist-murdered Canadians would be good for him winning his arguments. At least that's how I'm interpreting this:

As for a perfect country to fight a war in support of, I fear it will take an attack on Canadian soil before people really get rallied behind any kind of meaningful cause they care about.

Oh, wait, sorry, I misread that. It would only represent someone wanting numerous Canadians murdered in order to score political points if it was being written by a lefty. When it's written by a conservative, it means ... uh, something totally different, I guess.

My bad. Carry on.

I'm sure you can afford ten bucks.

Breaking my normal tradition in keeping business stuff separate from bloggy stuff, here's a guy who deserves a little support. I'm going to cough up ten dollars. I suspect you can afford to do the same.

No, they DON'T care what you think.

ID proponent William Dembski (hero of Canadian whackjob Denyse "I am all about the free speech" O'Leary) decides that, after all of eight comments (two of them his), he's had quite enough, thank you.

If Dembski isn't already a Blogging Tory, they should make him one. He'd fit right in.

The ugly Blogging Tory.

Document the douchebagitude.

HERE, LET ME START: Commenter "Durward" embarrasses carbon-based life forms thusly:

When I was young and in school we were taught that the constitution does not extend beyond Canada’s borders (makes sense) and that when abroad we follow the laws of the land we are visiting.

When did we get the idea we were protected outside of Canada is what I would like to know.

At which point, one might refer Durward to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, particularly the part involving rights of mobility, where one reads:

Mobility of citizens

6. (1) Every citizen of Canada has the right to enter, remain in and leave Canada.

Note particularly the guaranteed right for Canadian citizens to "enter" Canada, which would logically suggest (and try to stay with me here) that said citizen is currently not in Canada, and yet ... and yet ... the Charter would suggest that that right somehow accompanies that citizen even when they aren't in Canada, Durward's appalling ignorance notwithstanding.

This has been a "dining room table" moment.

The Mohamud meme picks up steam.

Hey, kids, remember who predicted this?

... let's all start watching for the newest talking point from the Canadian Idiot-sphere -- that Mohamud's passport photo DIDN'T LOOK LIKE HER!! Originally, it was just that her lips didn't seem to match, an accusation that has (as you can read above) slowly morphed into IT DIDN'T LOOK LIKE HER!! Possibly AT ALL!! Not even A LITTLE BIT!!!!!!

And here's commenter "Joe" over at the fraud known as "Raphael Alexander"s blog:

A person presents herself with a Canadian passport c/w a picture that does not resemble the holder of the passport.

Stupid or dishonest? You make the call. Man, I love being right about everything.

Is it just me ...

... or does anyone else get the feeling the not-so-good Pastor Steven Anderson is projecting just the tiniest bit?

How are they multiplying? Do you not see that they're multiplying? Are you that blind? Have you noticed that there's more than there were last year and the year before, and the year before that? How are they multiplying? They're reproducing right? No, here's a biology lesson: they're not reproducers, they're recruiters! And you know who they're after? Your children. Remember you dropped off your kids last week? That's who they're after. You drop them off as some daycare, you drop them off as some school somewhere, you don't know where they're at. I'll tell you where they're at: they're being recruited by the sodomites. They're being molested by the sodomites. I can tell you so many stories about people that I know being molested and recruited by the sodomites.

I don’t think it’s just me.

As Suggested By A Famous West Coast Artiste!

Mike Duffy's going to pop a senatorial chub over this one.

Saturday Morning Cartoons.

Good morning, darlings – how is everyone today?

Yes, Mike, those two situations are exactly the same.

Blogging Tory Mike McGuire asks where were we on the Left when countless lefties were marching in the streets, howling that Bush should be killed and openly and proudly bringing automatic weapons to Bush's public appearances? Oh, wait ... that never happened.

But perhaps in the same vein, one might ask where was Mike's outrage when Bush opponents were being harassed, arrested and jailed for the most inconsequential slights?

Your turn, Mike.

It's a mystery.

Shorter Blogging Tory JR: "It's absolutely beyond me to imagine how we can avoid getting ripped off by these money-grubbing, opportunistic immigrants. I mean, really, is there any conceivable way we could have prevented this? Seriously."

Canada's Blogging Tories and their commenters: Because accountability and personal responsibility is always for other people.

DEEP AFTERTHOUGHTS
: A couple more observations about the dining room table demographic. Note how JR is already into the historical revisionism:

Suaad Hagi Mohamud, stranded in Kenya because of questions about her Canadian identity, is suing:

Someone should educate JR that Mohamud wasn't simply "stranded" in Kenya. This wasn't simply a case of negligent indifference -- it was a case of the Canadian consulate in Kenya explicitly rejecting her claim of identity, voiding her passport and handing her over to the Kenyan authorities for prosecution. So JR is, unsurprisingly, a useless liar but I'm guessing he's not the first and he won't be the last. It's the new idiot talking point.

And speaking of talking points, consider commenter "Wilson":

She didn't look like her passport picture ... She didn't look like her passport picture.

Really? And who might have predicted that ugly bit of revisionism? Who indeed?

... let's all start watching for the newest talking point from the Canadian Idiot-sphere -- that Mohamud's passport photo DIDN'T LOOK LIKE HER!! Originally, it was just that her lips didn't seem to match, an accusation that has (as you can read above) slowly morphed into IT DIDN'T LOOK LIKE HER!! Possibly AT ALL!! Not even A LITTLE BIT!!!!!!

It's awesome being right about everything.

JUST TO DRIVE IT HOME, let's make sure we all understand what this entire case was based on (emphasis nad-whappingly added):

Mohamud, who was born in Somalia, travelled to Kenya on April 30 to visit her mother, leaving her son, 12, in the care of a friend in Toronto.

She was stopped from leaving by Kenyan immigration officials, who said that although Mohamud had the same facial features as the passport photograph, her lips were different.

Read that again to make sure you understand it -- the Kenyans admitted that she resembled her passport photo, except for her lips. So anyone who continues to suggest that Mohamud was detained because she didn't look like her picture is either stupid, ignorant or lying. Or, like JR, possibly all of the above. You can't rule that out.

The Stephen Harper Party of Canada: Never too stupid to learn.

"If we keep treating brown people like crap, the media will continue to tear us a new orifice on a regular basis. So what if we don't treat brown people like crap? Let's try that and see what happens."

YOUR DINING ROOM TABLE MOMENT
: Commenter "name already taken" goes all Steve Janke/Inspector Gadget on us:

What happened to this chap's original Canadian Passport? Sold? Lost?

Yes, that's a tough one, all right (emphasis added, naturally):

Mr. Mohamed's stay in East Africa began in 2004, when his mother brought him to live with relatives in the Somali port town of Bosaso. He had been struggling in Canada, and a doctor felt that being around his extended family might do him good. Ms. Issa stayed with him for several months as he settled in, then left, taking his passport with her because she feared it might be stolen. When she arrived in Toronto, Canadian officials confiscated the passport because it was not her own.

Canada's conservatives: Because reading comprehension is for other people.

What Paul said.

Indeed. Progressives everywhere went to the mats for Obama and, in return, they got thoroughly hosed. I suspect it's going to be a while before those same progressives are willing to invest that kind of emotion again.

Thursday, August 20, 2009

Oh, dear.

Yes, Ace, those batshit crazy commenters can really crimp one's style, can't they? It's sad when you have to live with the monsters you created.

Rush Can Hand It Out But Can't Take It

In recent weeks, self impressed pig-people like Rush Limbaugh have encouraged the basest of the base in their audiences to do their worst. Town hall meetings held by democratic members of the house and senate have turned into events worthy of dust bowl carnies. That is, with the glaring exception that the raving, damaged geeks have been in the audience not in the tents. People arrive hours in advance of appearances by the president with weapons strapped to their bodies carrying signs making barely veiled threats against their elected head of state. In the absence of a coherent argument, the distortions, lies and lunacy have been ramped up to make productive, street level democracy impossible. It is a spectacle to be sure, a spectacle unworthy of a modern nation, unworthy of a nation that claims greatness. It is perhaps telling that this new political power, the braying voice of the idiot, is finding its moral leadership in a morbidly obese, junkie, sex tourist.

It is interesting to see the tables turned when a younger Limbaugh comes into contact with the people whose lives and views he disrespects. He waddles onto the stage, before a live audience prepared to mock, demean and abuse his usual targets. He begins his portly whining with the wind up to a piece decrying feminists for defending the right of women to choose by staging boycotts. What follows gives one to understand exactly why the bloated creep has retreated to the insular confines of his radio booth, where he never has to hear the actual voice of the people, where he is safe from disagreement and where he is free to groom his lies and hates to their full atrocity. It is instructive that he plays at being wounded but noble at the end of this. Listen as he makes a clear argument against all of the disruption and rudeness that he now embraces and encourages.

Your daily dining room table.

It's sorely tempting to start a whole new feature here at CC HQ -- in honour of Barney Frank's suggestion that trying to engage a complete idiot intellectually would be like trying to have a conversation with a dining room table, we set the stage thusly:

Mohammed is autistic. His mother took him to Somalia five years ago because doctors believed being around extended family could help him.

After leaving Mohammed in Somalia with his grandmother, his mother returned to Canada.

However, when she tried to bring him back to Canada three years ago, she was told the person travelling with her was not her son because he didn't look like his passport photo.

Got all that? Good. At which point, we check in on commenter "justsayno", who gets things mind-crushingly wrong as follows:

Great, another dual citizen coming out of the woodwork to collect thier [sic] anticipated windfall courtesy of the Canadian taxpayer.

When a mother leaves her autistic child behind for a three year period it just doesn't pass the smell test.

How many of you bleeding hearts would leave without your child ?

Whereupon one is tempted to point out to "justsayno" that:

* Five years minus three years is, in fact, two years and, yes, wankers really are as mathematically illiterate as you'd heard, and

* She left her son behind with his extended family based on the advice of his doctors.

This has been your "dining room table" moment.

BONUS TRACK: 39 per cent of Americans are dining room tables.

How stupid is Stephen Harper?

This can't be right (emphasis forehead-whappingly added):

IQALUIT–Prime Minister Stephen Harper says he's happy Suaad Hagi Mohamud is back in Canada but admits he's waiting for answers about her nightmare at the hands of Canadian officials.

Harper suggested he became aware of the case only last week, even though her well-publicized plight of being stuck in Kenya had begun 11 weeks earlier.

How is that even remotely possible?

WEIRDER AND WEIRDER: A closer read of that article is even creepier (emphasis added):

"When we became aware of the case last week, we asked our officials in various departments to give us some information," Harper said at a news conference yesterday. "Obviously there (is) some troubling information here. It's a complex case. I have asked my officials for a thorough review of the matter ... (then) we'll decide what further inquiry we do have to do."

"We?" Who exactly is Harper referring to here, since the news has been full of Harper government officials commenting on this case for the last several weeks. Here's Foreign Affairs Minister Lawrence Cannon, almost a month ago:

"The individual has to be straightforward, has to let us know whether or not she is a Canadian citizen," Cannon told reporters in Ottawa.

"She's saying so, but there is no tangible proof to the effect. All Canadians who hold passports generally have a picture that is identical in their passport to what they claim to be."

So who precisely is Harper claiming learned of Mohamud's case "only last week?" And for someone who is as obsessive a micro-manager as Stephen Harper, does anyone actually believe he had no clue about any of this until only days ago? Oh, please.

Moving on to the next screwed-over brown person ...

Huh. This sounds vaguely familiar:

2nd Canadian stranded in Kenya
Last Updated: Wednesday, August 19, 2009 | 7:42 PM ET

Members of Canada's Somalian community say their relationship with the Canadian High Commission in Nairobi, Kenya, is strained following a second case of disputed identity.

Abdihakim Mohammed, a 25-year-old Somalian-Canadian, has been stuck in Kenya for three years, accused by Canadian diplomatic officials of being an imposter.

I could have sworn I've seen this movie before. Maybe we can get Blogging Tory Sandy Crux involved -- she's all about the autism. Or would being brown make a difference?

I'm just asking.

P.S. Here's the money quote:

Foreign Affairs Minister Lawrence Cannon isn't willing to draw any conclusions yet, but he said senior officials are looking into what happened.

"We're not looking for anything else than the truth," Cannon said.

At this point, I don't think the name "Lawrence Cannon" and the word "truth" should be allowed in the same paragraph. If I were the word "truth," I'd take out a restraining order against Cannon.

The level of stupid is just awesome.

It's hard to believe that anyone could make us miss the relative intellectualism of Blogging Tory "Hunter", but "Dodo Can Spell" represents a whole new standard in cripping, Canadian right-wing dumbth. Seriously:

HaHaHa - Barney Frank screams at his own lefty nutjobs - HAHAHAHAHA

He says "...trying to have a conversation with you would be like trying to argue with a dining room table" without realizing that the woman he is being nasty to, is a LEFTY. How priceless is that !!!

I got to admit, that's exactly how I feel when I argue with my lefty friends. Way to go Frank!!! Now I can say the exact same thing to the nutjobs in my life and additionally tell them where the quote came from.

That lady was a "lefty?" Really? How odd, because it's not quite what you'd expect from a "lefty" -- visually portraying Barack Obama as Hitler, and his entire administration as "Nazi." So let's follow the link Dodo provides, where we read:

As I mentioned in my rambling account of my visit to Congressman Joe Sestak's town hall meeting last week, it should be known that people like the woman standing up here at Barney Frank's meeting yesterday are supporters of Lyndon LaRouche -- a radical, left-wing Democrat. The "LaRouche PAC" lettering is visible on the posters being wielded around. Efforts by the left to characterize this woman and others as conservatives or Republicans should be rebuffed, and the assertions set straight.

Apparently, "Dodo" is so stunningly ignorant that she doesn't understand the difference between Democrats and Larouche-ites.

There is a certain irony, don't you think, in Blogging Tory co-founder Stephen Taylor being a fellow at the Manning Centre for Building Democracy, while being responsible for creating the biggest danger to Canadian democracy ever -- a collection of appallingly ignorant cretins like the BTs.

It would be amusing if it wasn't so depressing. Dining room tables, the lot of them.

AWWWWWKWARD. Oh, dear. The similarities are just eerie.

It's about freaking time.

In fact, it's long past time for sane people to tell insane people to put a sock in it. There is no chance of intellectual discusion with these people. They're lunatics, and they're dangerous. And they should be mocked relentlessly.

It's about time.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Oh, dear.

THE LESSONS LEARNED
: The Prime Minister's Office suggests that this might be a teaching moment:

The Prime Minister's Office was apologetic, calling the gaffe a human error that might teach Canadians an important lesson about spelling mistakes.

Or it might teach Canadians an important lesson about how little this party gives a crap about Canada's Arctic, to the point where they can't be bothered to check their spelling.

I'm just saying that's another possible lesson.

P.S. I'm guessing that there will be a deadly silence from Canada's Blogging Tories on this fiasco, which would have made for endless howling entertainment if the Liberals had done it.

But that's just a guess.

And sometimes, you really ARE just a big dick.

Like here.

One more time, with feeling.

This one's never going to get old, is it?

There was also the matter of carrying guns into the convention hall. With Mr. Cheney as the promised keynote speaker, this had become the subject of heated debate in the weeks leading up to the convention.

Utah allows its citizens to carry concealed weapons virtually anywhere, but the Secret Service imposes control over venues where the president and vice president travel, which means no weapons allowed.

By late in the week, a compromise was reached. Delegates with guns were provided lockers outside the exposition center to store them until Mr. Cheney departed. In all, local officials checked 25 guns, all of which were returned to their owners.

It's amusing how America's most animated defenders of the Second Amendment really don't want easy and convenient access to firearms when they're in the neighbourhood, isn't it?

P.S. On the other hand, we over here on the Left are extremely uncivil and dangerous, with all of our Improvised Explosive Snark. Much more dangerous than automatic weapons. Or so I've been told.

BONUS TRACK
: What could possibly go wrong?

The joy of taking one's own advice.

Shorter Canadian Idiot-sphere: "It's Mohamud's fault for not checking her passport photo on a regular basis and rushing out to get a new one, something we total hypocrites have never done and would never have considered in a million, billion, skillion, gajillion years. Why would we? That would be just stupid."

The Civility of the Right.

Take two.

You have GOT to be fucking kidding.

You are absolutely not going to believe this, which takes us here, where irredeemably useless CPoC shill and Stephen Harper fluffer Sandy Crux has added the re-patriation of Suaad Hagi Mohamud as an official Harper Government "accomplishment" and part of his "record."

Words fail me. They just fucking fail me.

No fear ... "Raphael" is on the case.

Blogging Tory "Raphael Alexander" is terribly, terribly concerned about Suaad Mohamud. Amusingly, that would be this Raphael Alexander.

Stephen Taylor's Blogging Tories: Because even Canadian racists need a place to call home.

P.S. It's entertaining to notice how "Raphael" is always late to the party. It's like the coward who hides under a bar stool, then emerges after the brawl is over, smugly proclaiming, "Well, gentlemen, we certainly showed them, didn't we?" When Raphael's contrived and utterly bogus sympathy for black people shows up in the pages of the National Post, the cycle of wingnut douchebaggery will be complete.

He's a lawyer? Really?

Shorter Ezra Levant: "I really, really, really hate brown people."

But wait. That might require a bit of explanation, as we read (emphasis thigh-suckingly added):

I'm not surprised to read that the Canadian Bar Association has called for the government of Canada to press for the return of terrorist Omar Khadr, currently rotting in Barack Obama's Guantanamo Bay. I've written about Khadr before. In short, he was charged with killing an American, in an American war, as an anti-American terrorist. Let him stand trial in America.

Good thinking, Ezra. Let's have him stand trial in America. And when, Ezra, do you think that might be convenient, given that the Canada Charter of Rights suggests:

Proceedings in criminal and penal matters

11. Any person charged with an offence has the right

(a) to be informed without unreasonable delay of the specific offence;

(b) to be tried within a reasonable time;

And given that it's been over six years that he's been sitting in prison, you'd think that a lawyer might appreciate that that's not really a "reasonable time" anymore. Or that he was officially a "child soldier" for which there are fairly unambiguous rules. One would think that a competent lawyer would understand fundamental things like this.

I'd heard that Ezra Levant was a lawyer. I guess I heard wrong.

Iggy needs to kick some ass.

If he can't get "visceral," he ain't worth crap. And, at the moment, he ain't worth crap.

The ugly Canadian.

It's not so much Haroon Siddiqui's column of this morning. Rather, it's the increasing racist ugliness and ignorance one finds permeating the comments sections of the MSM. And the increasing dishonesty of some of those commenters, like "rickbon":

Thats a lot of hyperbole, whereas the truth is that we finally have a governement just has the balls to say "NO means NO". They won't cave in to BS and public pressure. If your passport photo DOES NOT look like you, then you have a problem. Isn't that why there is a photo on your passport?? Or is that too simple to understand?

Submitted by rickbon at 10:49 AM Sunday, August 16 2009

And on that note, let's all start watching for the newest talking point from the Canadian Idiot-sphere -- that Mohamud's passport photo DIDN'T LOOK LIKE HER!! Originally, it was just that her lips didn't seem to match, an accusation that has (as you can read above) slowly morphed into IT DIDN'T LOOK LIKE HER!! Possibly AT ALL!! Not even A LITTLE BIT!!!!!!

And the dishonesty of the Douchebag-o-sphere rolls on.

Yes, they really ARE as gullible as you've heard.

Unsurprisingly, Canada's champions of "accountability" and "personal responsibility" want you to understand that it's always someone else's fault. But then, a curiosity:

Marie said...

There is also the detail that the woman who came off the plane was photographed and the woman who was then trying to get on the plane did not match the photograph.

It was the Kenyan security at the airport who caught this. It was not just the passport photo.

Um ... say what? This is the first I've heard of this little detail. Does security at Kenya's airports actually take a photograph of every single arrival, then manually compare that photo with each outgoing passenger? Really? Because I can't imagine the logistical nightmare that would ensue.

And again, unsurprisingly, Blogging Tory "Neo," rather than show the slightest bit of skepticism about this brand new talking point, is all over it like, well, "Neo" on dead minorities:

Neo Conservative said...

*
"marie says... It was the Kenyan security at the airport who caught this. It was not just the passport photo."

as alice would say... curiouser & curiouser.

Or as we here at CC HQ would say, retardeder and retardeder.

Tune in next week when "marie" accuses Suaad Hagi Mohamud of being a cocaine mule, and "Neo" is all, like, "I knew it!"

BONUS TRACK: Oh, dear ... poor Neo, hopelessly ignorant yet again:

and you actually think the kenyan authorities, who arrested, processed and detained this woman were all conspiring against her?

Perhaps someone should explain to "Neo" how it was the Canadian authorities in Kenya that decided that Mohamud was an imposter, voided her passport, and handed her over to the Kenyans for prosecution. On the other hand, that might involve Neo eventually writing something that was correct, and we don't want to push him into unfamiliar territory. It might frighten him.

WHAT THE HELL? Dr. Dawg in the comments, quoting DFAIT:

Ms. Mohamud was initially stopped by Kenyan officials because her photos did not match. When Ms. Mohamud originally arrive [sic] at the airport a photo was taken of her by Kenyan immigration officials and when she arrived at the airport to depart the person who presented Ms. Mohamud passport did not match either the passport photo or the airports entry photo.

I have to ask, even if Mohamud no longer resembled her 4-year-old passport photo, how could she possibly not resemble the airport entry pic taken only two weeks earlier? Oh, wait, I remember -- the Canadian Dumbfuck-o-sphere is claiming that she handed off her passport to, what, a sister? But if you believe that, you have to believe that, after the "imposter" was denied boarding, everyone conveniently turned their backs long enough to allow Mohamud to slip back in unnoticed.

Is that the talking point? Seriously, is that the fairy tale the Dumbfuck-o-sphere is pushing now?

When astonishingly stupid people go on TV.

It's a particularly bad idea to allow yourself to be interviewed in real time by the MSM when you're, you know, a complete idiot.

Welcome to the monsters you helped create, Vic.

Blogging Tory Victor Wong attempts to be thoughtful and reasonable, and writes a coherent blog post. At which point, the batshit crazy comes home to roost:

Rather than allow terrorists Khadr back into Canada where he can terrorize our wives and/or grandchildren, our left-plunging CINO Prime Minister must immediately take this pathetically moronic decision of these two terrorists sympathizing judges to the Supreme Court. If the Canadian people where to loose there, the Prime Minister then must be willing to invoke Section 33 (1), the “Not Withstanding” clause, with its mandate to check judicial subversion of legislative and executive powers.

... etc etc shrieking, illiterate idiocy etc etc ...

Congratulations, Vic. Those howling wingnuts and raving racists? They're your creation. Enjoy.

Now I'm just creeped out.

Just how frightened does this make you?

That woman has to be a parody. There is no way a human being could be that ignorant and evil.

Oh, wait, I forgot about Kathy Shaidle. Never mind. Carry on.

BY THE WAY, that would be this Glenn Beck.

RUH ROH ... Apparently, sane people are getting tired of Beck's shtick. This is, of course, nothing less than a vicious attack on Beck's right to free speech. Or something.

The comments, the comments, the glorious comments.

They walk among us:

Of course she will sue!! Did anyone think she wouldn't. Taxpayers have lots of money for this nonsense. She should be going after the person who called her an imposter...NOT the Canadian taxpayer.

...

This is exactly what I expected to happen. It was her choice to go to Kenya. Our very lax laws are costing this country (the taxpayers) a lot of money that would be better spent elsewhere.

...

It was her responsibility to make sure her passport photo was a reflection how how she looks before she left this country and she failed to do so...

...

Wow she going to sue, what a surprise.

Some advise if your picture in you passport is outdated, update your passport before you travel

But here's one of my faves:

Consular officials dropped the ball. So go ahead and Sue them. Get your coin and then watch your taxes go up. Along with that check we should send just a reminder-- there is no promises in life when you go to another country.
You are in Kenya and most problems revolved around officials that are locals hired by Canada and Kenya. It sounds like this lady pissed off someone over there or treated someone like a schmuck. There is always two sides and I do not think we heard the other side.

all in all though WE do need to get to the bottom of this just to clear things up but I am sick of Canadians who travel and think Canadian Standards and laws and customs plus our political checks and balances travel with them. They do not so deal with it. When in Rome Roman rules standards etc apply not Canadian!! If some Kenyan working for Canada applied Keyan thinking so be it!!

"... I do not think we heard the other side." Of course not. Because when every shred of the evidence points to our racist masters in Ottawa being, well, racist, then the only logical conclusion is that there's other information that they can't share with us that would justify their actions. There must be something they haven't told us that would defend their vile bigotry and callous indifference. And it's just a darned shame we'll never know what it is. Probably a privacy law issue or something. That must be it.

Oh, and there's this one, from commenter "David James":

Tough luck lady. How is your pathetic problem now our problem? This crap has got to end and, unfortunately, it won't until we end this dual citizen nonsense and teach these people to behave when abroad.

That would be this David James. He might not stand out in a crowd. At least, not until his hood and robes are back from the cleaners.

THE IGNORANCE KNOWS NO BOUNDS: Against my better judgment, I continued to peruse the comments and ran across "JackKerouac," who spewed thusly:

that Kenyan should be thanking her lucky stars she is a citizen of this great country; but as far as I'm concerned, she should of stayed in Africa. Too many left-leaning wimps seem to enjoy publically masterbating to being so nice and tolerant. Such sentiment is really an expression of people who do not like themselves on the one had, and two, are forced to live in their lonely jail of self-hatred because no one else likes them either. This is what the far-left consists of: seeking out to immigrants that have completley different values than traditional canadians--and yes, there is such a thing--because traditional Canadians don't like them. There is great vengence under their pseudo humanitarianism. But I like myself, and don't need to appear to be a humanitarian to make myself feel good about myself; as far as I'm concerned humanitarianism is just another veil of weak individuals that deep down hate themselves and their fellow country men. Ruining this country won't make you feel good about yourselves, however, it may make your vengence against Canadian society to be satisfied. The Liberal Media can go to hell.

Someone should educate "Jack" to the fact that Mohamud is not Kenyan, she's a native Somalian. Sadly, being horrifically ignorant about the most basic facts has never stopped Canada's idiots from opining stupidly and at length. It's kind of a lifestyle choice for them.

Refresh my memory ... they're dying for what?

Apparently, Canada's brave men and women in uniform are being systematically killed over in Afghanistan for ...

Afghanistan has quietly passed a law permitting Shia men to deny their wives food and sustenance if they refuse to obey their husbands' sexual demands, despite international outrage over an earlier version of the legislation which President Hamid Karzai had promised to review.

The new final draft of the legislation also grants guardianship of children exclusively to their fathers and grandfathers, and requires women to get permission from their husbands to work.

So ... Canada's conservatives are all about the mission in Afghanistan, which is helping to prop up a corrupt, misogynistic regime that treats like crap the very women they keep getting all teary-eyed over. If I was a Blogging Tory, I would have such cognitive dissonance by now.

Thank you, thank you ... don't forget to tip your waitress.

The New York Times ... recognizing quality when they see it:

I have a scrapbook.

Dodo is retarded.

Yes, yes, it's low-hanging fruit, but it's still educational. Here's Blogging Tory and foul-mouthed screech harpy "Dodo," pretty much creaming herself in her Peter MacKay long johns:

Matt Bramanti of the LoneStarTimes reports that:
I was reading the Chron’s piece about Sheila Jackson Lee’s town hall, when something caught my eye:

One supporter, Dr. Roxana Mayer, a physician who does not live in Jackson Lee’s district praised the reform plan for overhauling a broken system.“I don’t know what there is in the bill that creates such panic,” she said

I’m not sure why, but something didn’t smell right. So my colleagues and I did a little digging, and wouldn’t you know it? Roxana Mayer is, like, totally not a doctor
But she is an Obama campaign volunteer

...and that was not the end of the trickery, not by a long mile. Finding this nugget has made my day. Sometimes you happen to click on a commenter's link and it will take you to all sort of myriad places. This was one such link that a commenter gave to an article I was reading. It's a fascinating read as it brings to light how dirty and devious the lefties happen to be.

Oh, noez!!11!11! Concerned citizen misrepresentation!11!!11!1! Gosh, that sounds an awful lot like, well, this:

A leaked memo sent by an oil industry group reveals a plan to create astroturf rallies at which industry employees posing as "citizens" will urge Congress to oppose climate change legislation.

The memo -- sent by the American Petroleum Institute and obtained by Greenpeace, which sent it to reporters -- urges oil companies to recruit their employees for events that will "put a human face on the impacts of unsound energy policy," and will urge senators to "avoid the mistakes embodied in the House climate bill."

API tells TPMmuckraker that the campaign is being funded by a coalition of corporate and conservative groups that includes the anti-health-care-reform group 60 Plus, FreedomWorks, and Grover Norquist's Americans For Tax Reform.

The memo, signed by API president Jack Gerard, asks recipients to give API "the name of one central coordinator for your company's involvement in the rallies."

And it warns: "Please treat this information as sensitive ... we don't want critics to know our game plan."

I need more of a challenge. Seriously.
